Okay, so it's been a few months since the last post. No surprise, I ended up knitting September, Derm, and my sub-I away and postponed Step 2 of the boards until November 1. And luckily, despite my best efforts to knit away almost the entire week that I took off to prepare, I passed.
As of today I am officially done with all medical school exams and my required rotations! Whoo-hoo! Although as I was taking the Anesthesia test earlier this afternoon, I wasn't so sure today would be the end after all. Despite actually reading the book this time around, I haven't felt so helpless in an exam since USMLE step 1 second year. But luckily my wily abilities to make random guesses and recall 4th grade long division earned me more than the required 64%. Which strangely enough, means that I am for all intents and purposes, a...doctor? AHHH! Where did med school go?
| So currently I am 34 weeks and doing well - look at how big I am! |
| Here are the ultrasound pictures at 23 weeks. The first is of the baby's face lying sideways. Yes...use your imagination...see the big eyes? |

| Next is the spine (no neural tube defects here...take that, spina bifida!) |
| And here's a foot. We've agreed it appears to be a mix of my long narrow feet and Ilya's nicely sloped toes. |
And of course the incessant knitting continues... winter babies are fun. :)
Here's a pair of socks. |
And a cotton bib... |
Baby bunting, anyone? I enjoy that the hat is the exact same size as each arm. |
Simon and David are busy preparing for the big arrival, too. So far they have their baby impressions down pat.
