This is an excellent open letter to the President-Elect by Michael Pollan that presents an innovative way to fulfill all those election promises regarding the energy crisis, economic crisis, and national security by using (what else?)...permaculture! So, go Obama! Yes, you can!!
It is long, but very worth the read if you have 20 minutes.
